Prioritizing the security of customer data is our top priority

Precanto is committed to the highest levels of data security. We are pleased to announce successful completion of our System and Organization Controls (SOC) 2 Type II attestation for Security (“clean, unqualified report with no exceptions noted”). This is one of the most prevalent security frameworks aimed to address cybersecurity concerns in cloud-based systems - developed by the American Institute of Certified Public Accounts (“AICPA”).

This is exciting news for Precanto’s customers - finance leaders and business partners need security assurance, when leveraging sensitive financial and personnel data to make machine learning powered decisions.

Accounting information, related to general ledger, payroll, invoices, purchase orders, etc. is sourced from Enterprise Resource Planning (“ERP”) systems and leveraged by finance teams. Finance teams also pull data from their Enterprise Performance Management (“EPM”) systems for budgets, plans, forecasts, and management reports. Meanwhile, business partners such as Talent Acquisition and People Operations teams leverage Human Resource Information Systems (“HRIS”) and Applicant Tracking Systems (“ATS”) for personnel and prospect data.

Precanto has made security a top priority. When enterprises think about data security, SOC 2 Type II is one of the first things that comes to mind.  A SOC 2 Type II attestation is based on specific criteria for managing customer data correctly, which includes: security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality, and privacy. Any company that is a Cloud service provider, SaaS provider, or one that stores client information in the Cloud should obtain SOC 2 Type II attestation to prove that they can keep a client’s data protected and private from unauthorized users.
